CGE member school administrators and faculty members are committed to
programs and projects that broaden their institution's involvement with
international education. CGE receives and disseminates information
concerning the involvement of member bodies and serves as an information
clearinghouse for opportunities and needs for educational services and
exchanges. The consortium facilitates the cooperative pooling of resources
for meeting educational needs that are best met by a coalition of school.
Together, they develop international programs of a quality and magnitude
equal to those of prestigious U.S. universities. CGE communicates with CGE
member school primary contacts, listed on the Information Exchange, to keep
them informed about educational needs and opportunities with the over 190
overseas partnering schools. CGE also provides information to these
individuals about CGE delegation trips for groups and representatives of
member institutions for the purpose of investigating new mutually beneficial
opportunities.
