A CGE delegation visited Tunisia
in June 2004.  CGE enlisted the assistance of faculty from member schools (Charleston Southern University, Anderson College, and Willian
Carey College) and other professional educators for a multi-faceted educational project in Tunisia. 

   
CGE has worked with the Mediterranean School of Business of the South Mediterranean University. 

     
CGE has a signed parthership with the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (IHEC) led by
Dr. Goaied.  For the past three years IHEC and CGE have conducted business seminars for graduate students and faculty.


   
CGE values a cooperative partnership with the Institut Arabe des Chefs D'Entreprises who invite Tunisian business leaders for 'Doing Business in America' workshop. 

CGE delegates visited the Sfax University of the South in southern Tunisia where 152,000 students are enrolled.  Recently, 17 institutions of higher learning combined to form a national university with the most popular degrees being Technology, Management and Science.  CGE delegates from left to right: Earl Leininger, Mars Hill; Mike Arrington, Ouachita; Bob Agee, CGE; Alton Lacey, Missouri Baptist; , Hamid Ben Dhia, Sfax University; Carolyn Bishop, CGE; Carla Sanderson, Union; and Bill Little, Southwest Baptist. Not pictured: Cynthia Jayne, Union; and Treva Gibson, Grand Canyon.

Dr.Cynthia Jayne, the International Director at Union University, discussed Arabic language and culture studies and distance learning opportunities with Professor Riadh Zghal. Opportunities were also investigated for student exchanges, sabbaticals, training for their ESL teachers, and student interns to come in July and August to CGE schools.
