CGE operates under the direction of a Board consisting of the presidents of member institutions or their designated representatives. The Board meets at least annually and, by tradition, has made September the time for its annual gathering of faculty and staff members with international experience and interest. Attendance at this meeting, which rotates in location among member institutions, has grown steadily since the establishment of the consortium. Officers of CGE are elected by the Board and constitute the Executive Committee Members, with the addition of Ex-Officio members.
