Queensland University

Queensland University (UQ) is a Christian Protestant University institution established in Haiti
since 1996. It provides high quality training to young Haitians to prepare for the future
tomorrow. In collaboration with the Queensland Foundation for Children, Health and Education
(QFCHE), www.qcfhaiti.org , it presents itself as a real parcel of knowledge and skill transfer
between North and South. Since the year 1996, Queensland University (UQ) has presented
itself as the flagship of the Bachelor – Master – PHD system in Haiti.

The mission of the UQ
The mission of the Queensland University (UQ) Haiti Within the framework of teaching and
scientific research in Haiti and the Caribbean, the Queensland University makes an important
contribution to the provision of quality university Christian education as well as a wide range of
additional training corresponding to the needs of society. Developing new knowledge through
productive scientific, cultural and artistic research, the university contributes to the formation
of intelligent, moral, authentic and socially responsible individuals and thus to the creation of a
Haitian Society of learning.

UQ’s vision
Having expressly proven itself to be the Christian Leader in the field of Christian Higher
Education (CHE) in Haiti and the Caribbean region, Queensland University (UQ) is generally
perceived as a strong Protestant university of international significance. Its Status was achieved
due to its high quality of Christian education, successful placement in the labor market,
excellent international cooperation in specific areas of research and cooperation with practice
as well as professional sport and cultural and artistic presentation in the Haitian community.
